Luisa’s Mexican Grill

People sometimes lament that Mashiko is not open for lunch.  “Where, oh where, am I to get delicious lunchtime fare?” they plead.  Fret no more, wonderful folks of Seattle and its surrounding neighborhoods!  We will share some of our favorite local places for lunch and beyond…

We don’t get to North Seattle much, but when we do, we like to eat at Luisa’s Mexican Grill.  Located near that weird intersection where Holman Road, Greenwood Avenue, and North 105th all meet, Luisa’s is easy to get to and has – hold on to your hats – ample parking!  Stop at Luisa’s on your way to Northgate Mall and you won’t find yourself at the mercy of that lame food court.

"Happiness is a Warm Tortilla"

What sets Luisa’s apart from other local Mexican joints is simple:  good service and great food.  Their freshly made corn  tortillas alone are worth making the trip for.  Be prepared to spend a few minutes deciding what to order as most everything is a good choice.  And who doesn’t like a place with an extensive margarita menu?
